Welcome to Concordia Publishing House, where words have been our business and faith our inspiration for more than 139 years. We are the publisher of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, and we are dedicated to spreading the Gospel message of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
In Matthew 28:19, Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” We live this mission every day as we develop and publish materials that contribute to Gospel ministry across the country and throughout the world.

Adult Bible Studies
Our Bible studies for adults nurture faith and create a sense of community. A wide variety of Bible studies are available including our new women’s study, A New Song. Looking for a great way to get to know the Bible? Our popular LifeLight series focuses on books of the Bible and leads you to connect stories and truths of Scripture to your life right now. Many studies are available as downloads to meet the needs of today’s digital world.
Vacation Bible School
It’s fun. It’s kid-focused. And it’s all about Jesus. Every year, we produce a new VBS theme that connects kids of all ages to important messages that God has for them. On a daily basis, every child who attends a CPH Vacation Bible School learns about Jesus, their Savior. VBS is mission in action for children in the church and the community.
Youth Materials
Today’s tweens and teens have important questions about faith and spirituality. Our studies for youth give students the opportunity to think about and discuss the changing issues in their lives through the lens of God’s unchanging Word. Some of our freshest titles include our recently updated Learning about Sex series, and our new downloadable resource Pulse, that provides timely, relevant talk sheets that focus on current events and media.
Music Resources
We offer a wide range of music resources from traditional to contemporary. Our world class selection includes the new Lutheran Service Book hymnal, choral music, instrumental music, handbell music, CDs from notable Christian performers, and much more.
Professional and Consumer Books
We offer a strong library of titles for pastors, Christian teachers and speakers, seminary students, and churchgoers. Our selection includes translated books by Lutheran founding father Martin Luther; theological resources; devotionals for families and individuals; and much more.
Children’s and Adolescent Books
Reading is essential for children and adolescents. Our books engage the heart, mind, and spirit. Parents can trust that our titles for kids are true to the Bible, imaginative, and age-appropriate. Our most popular line is our Arch Books series. Magazines and periodicals remain some of the most popular printed products around. And we produce excellent Christian magazines for use in a variety of settings.
